Keepers of the Clans
The Clans of Draenor
There are 13 recognized Clans of Draenor. They are scattered throughout the land and rarely stray too far from home. Strength, honor in battle, and clan loyalty are paramount in orc society. Orcs believe the ancestors provide strength, wisdom, and guide them throughout life. Remembering one’s family is as important as fighting beside your clan.

The Bonechewers are groups of orcs exiled, dishonored, or otherwise without a clan. They are spread throughout Draenor and can be found anywhere. These orcs band together to help each other survive in a harsh world. The Bonechewers have little in common beside the hatred of all established clans. They will attack on sight. Although highly unorganized, the Bonechewers still know how to fight and build small communities.
A strong and charismatic orc named Blackhand leads a small band of orcs in northern Gorgrond. No one really knows what Blackhand does, but there are many theories. Some believe he is building machines to take over Draenor, some think he trains an elite force better than even the Blackrock or Warsong, and others feel he is experimenting in dark, arcane magics. Blackhand is able to live and work in peace because of how the Black Tooth Grin built their garrisons.
The Burning Blade used to be a clan, but now they are small, divided groups of orcs spread throughout the land. These orcs practice meditation and believe in honing your inner strength. Through this meditation, these orcs are able enhance their weapons and armor with unique powers. They do not use these abilities for battle, but rather to prove the power of a strong spirit. The Burning Blade do not like to interact with others and do not accept visitors.
